St. Peter Port has connections to Victor Hugo, a gorgeous harbour setting and relics of the German Occupation such as the hospital, not to mention marvellous cream teas and wonderful beaches.
Pretty Honfleur was inspiration for painters such as Lautrec, enchanted by the beautiful play of light on water. Waterfront restaurants fringe the yacht-studded harbour with its pretty, pastel shaded architecture, ideal for a spot of people watching in the welcoming springtime sunshine.
YOUR HOTEL
You will stay five nights on board the Cruise Ship Black Watch. All cabins have television, telephone, private facilities, hairdryer and individually controlled air conditioning. Meals are served in the two main indoor restaurants, outdoors by the two pools, and one indoor restaurant for informal dining. The selection of bars and lounges ensures plenty of choice for passengers day and night, whether it's peace and quiet in the library or dancing to the small hours in the Lido Lounge. The main show lounge provides the setting for the nightly cabaret show, whilst the Observatory Lounge on the top deck gives a panoramic view day and night. There is also an internet room. Other facilities include golf nets, gym and fitness centre with beauty salon, two outdoor pools and two Swimmex machines. The medical centre is staffed by a doctor and two nurses on every cruise.
YOUR ITINERARY
Day 1 - Join your executive coach at your local pick-up point and journey to the port of Southampton to board your cruise ship. Your cruise ship sets sail at 4.30pm.
Day 2 - ST. PETER PORT, GUERNSEY. Dock in St. Peter Port around 7.30am where the morning is yours at leisure. We set sail at 1.30pm.
Day 3 - COBH, IRELAND. Dock in Cobh at 8.30am. Day at leisure or join optional excursions to Cork (book on board). We set sail at 11pm.
Day 4 - CRUISING AT SEA. A full day at leisure to enjoy the on-board facilities.
Day 5 - HONFLEUR. Dock in Honfleur around 7.15am. We set sail at 6.00pm.
Day 6 - SOUTHAMPTON. Dock in Southampton around 6.00am. Journey home by executive coach.
