This four day break offers you a selection of the best hand-picked heritage sites that England has to offer. We give you the chance to marvel upon the prehistoric stone-circle of Stonehenge. The UNESCO World Heritage site has puzzled archaeologists for centuries and remains a remarkable feat of engineering. This tour begins in the mystical town of Glastonbury, said to straddle the spiritual leylines, whose Abbey is the fabled burial place of King Arthur and Guinevere as well as the world's first overground Christian Church. In the afternoon you will be taken to Salisbury, the home of a colossal seven-century old Cathedral that dominates the skyline for miles around. Finally, we travel to the World Heritage City of Bath where you have the day to take in the famous Roman Baths, Pulteney Bridge and glorious selection of parks.
YOUR ITINERARY
Day 1 - GLASTONBURY. Journey to Glastonbury. Late afternoon we depart and travel to our hotel.
Day 2 - STONEHENGE and SALISBURY. Included excursions to Stonehenge and Salisbury. Included return to the hotel late afternoon.
Day 3 - BATH. Included full day excursion. Optional sightseeing tour.
Day 4 - Journey to your drop-off point after breakfast. Optional excursion on the way back.
